Condos, century homes and suburban houses
Toronto homes vary a lot, and so does the work. Condos downtown and on the waterfront call for concierge check-ins, fobs and service elevators. Victorian and Edwardian houses in Cabbagetown, Leslieville or High Park North have steep stairs, original woodwork and radiators. Post-war bungalows and split-levels in East York, Don Mills and Etobicoke usually add a finished basement.

What decides the price of a clean in Toronto?
Your home’s size, the type of clean and any extras you choose, and the booking form shows the price before you confirm. The price reflects the time your home needs: cleaning is charged by the hour, with a 3-hour minimum per booking, and if a visit needs more time than booked, we’ll check with you first.
Can you work with my Toronto condo’s concierge and elevator rules?
Yes. Add your building’s visitor registration, elevator booking and fob details to your booking, and leave a key or fob at the desk if you’ll be out. Building rules and elevator bookings don’t change your price.
Who lets my cleaner in if I’m out?
You choose. Many clients leave a key with the concierge, a neighbour or in a lockbox and tell us how to lock up. For security reasons, we don’t keep copies of clients’ keys.
Can you clean an older Victorian or Edwardian house?
Yes. Tell us about the stairs, original woodwork, radiators and any delicate surfaces when you book, and leave out any specialty products you’d like used. A first visit is usually a deep clean, and you see your price on the booking form before you confirm.
What if something is missed after a Toronto clean?
Tell us within 24 hours of your appointment and we’ll come back within 5 days to re-clean what was missed, at no cost. That’s the Hive Promise.
