What’s the difference between maid service and deep cleaning?

Maid service is recurring upkeep; deep cleaning is a one-time, detail-intensive reset. Many clients start with a deep clean and keep it that way with recurring visits.

How often can my maid service visit?

Weekly, bi-weekly, or every 3 or 4 weeks, and you save up to 15% with a recurring plan. You can change the frequency from your client portal as your routine changes.

Can I leave a key for my cleaner?

Yes. Many clients leave a key with their concierge or in a safe place and tell us how to lock up. Every cleaner is background and reference checked before their first visit, Cleaning Hive carries $5,000,000 liability insurance, and we never keep copies of your keys.

Is there a contract?

No. There’s never a contract. Skip, reschedule or pause a visit from your client portal, free with at least 48 hours’ notice. See our cancellation policy.

What if something is missed on a visit?

Tell us within 24 hours of your appointment and we’ll come back within 5 days to re-clean anything we missed, at no cost. That’s the Hive Promise. It applies to every maid service visit, weekly, bi-weekly or every 3–4 weeks.
