How strata rules shape a condo clean
In BC, a condo is a strata lot, and the strata corporation’s bylaws set the rules of the building: who comes in, when and how. A few of them affect your clean.
- The enterphone. Many buildings have no front desk, so visitors buzz up from the enterphone. Add your buzzer number, or leave a fob in a lockbox, and put the steps in your booking notes.
- Concierge buildings. Where there is a front desk, let the concierge know your cleaner is coming, or leave a key or fob there. Your keys are never copied or kept.
- Quiet hours. Some strata bylaws limit when service visits or noise can happen. Tell us your building’s hours and choose your time within them.
- Visitor parking. If your building has a visitor stall your cleaner can use, add how to reach it to your notes.
- Glass and balconies. West Coast suites often have walls of glass: each visit includes wiping the balcony door from the inside, and interior windows can be added when you book.
- Your price stays the same whatever your strata’s rules or elevator bookings.

What every suite clean covers
Your cleaner follows our room-by-room checklist and the notes you leave:
- In the kitchen: counters, sink, stovetop, appliance fronts and the microwave inside
- In the bathroom: toilet, tub or shower, vanity and mirror, fixtures polished
- In the bedrooms and living area: dusting of reachable surfaces and electronics, beds made
- Balcony and patio door glass wiped from the inside
- Floors vacuumed, then mopped, room to room
Optional on the form: interior windows and blinds, laundry, dishes, fridge, oven or cabinet interiors, and the deep-cleaning add-on.

How much does condo cleaning cost in Vancouver?

My building has no concierge. How will my cleaner get in?
Through the enterphone, if you’re home to buzz them up, or with a fob or key you leave in a lockbox. Add the buzzer number or the lockbox details to your booking and tell us how to lock up. Your keys are never copied or kept.
What if my strata has rules for service visitors?
Add them to your booking. Whether it’s registering visitors with the building manager, set hours for service visits or where to park, they’re passed to your cleaner for the day.
Do you clean windows in a glass-walled suite?
Yes, on the inside: add interior windows ($22.50 per room) and, for blinds, wet-wiping ($15.50 per window) on the booking form. Balcony door glass is wiped at every visit.
Do you clean suites after a renovation?
