In bathrooms: the toilet, shower, tub, sink, mirrors and floors. Throughout your home: dusting, vacuuming and mopping, beds made, surfaces tidied and trash taken out. Add inside the fridge, oven or cabinets, interior windows, blinds, hand-wiped baseboards, laundry, dishes or a finished basement when you book, and your price updates as you choose. The full list is on our pricing page. - [Is there anything you don’t clean?](https://cleaninghive.ca/faq/#faq-not-cleaned): We clean the inside of your home, so balconies, decks, garages, unfinished basements and exterior windows aren’t included, and neither are ceilings or areas beyond safe reach. For health and safety, we don’t handle mould, pests, biohazards or pet waste, and we don’t remove junk or move heavy furniture. - [Is there a minimum booking?](https://cleaninghive.ca/faq/#faq-minimum): Yes, 3 hours per booking, and the price on the booking form already includes it. - [How is the price of my cleaning calculated?](https://cleaninghive.ca/faq/#faq-price): You see your price upfront on the booking form, based on your home’s size, the type of clean and any extras you choose. Behind that price is the time your home needs: cleaning is charged by the hour, with a 3-hour minimum per booking. See our prices and plans. - [Do you bring cleaning supplies?](https://cleaninghive.ca/faq/#faq-supplies): Yes. Your cleaner brings professional cleaning supplies and a vacuum, so there’s nothing to buy or set out. If you have a specialty product for a particular surface, leave it out and mention it in your booking. Would you rather we used your own supplies throughout? Here’s what to have on hand. - [What is your cancellation policy?](https://cleaninghive.ca/faq/#faq-cancel): There’s never a contract. To cancel or reschedule free of charge, give us at least 48 hours’ notice, in your client portal or by phone or email. Within 48 hours there’s a $50 fee. On the day of the clean, before your cleaner arrives, the fee is 60% of the cleaning cost, and the full price applies only if your cleaner is already there or can’t get in. The details are in our terms and conditions. - [What is your satisfaction guarantee?](https://cleaninghive.ca/faq/#faq-guarantee): It’s the Hive Promise: you’ll love your clean, or we’ll come back and make it right. Tell us within 24 hours of your clean and we’ll come back within 5 days to re-clean what was missed, at no cost. It covers the tasks and extras you booked. Every cleaner is background and reference checked and professionally trained before their first visit, and we’re a Certified Living Wage Employer.
